Assistant Accountant

To continue to provide the best possible support to our growing client portfolio, we are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Accountant. In this role, you will manage our clients’ financial accounts. Thanks to our fully digital approach, you’ll be working with modern software and up-to-date figures, enabling you and your colleagues to help business owners keep their financial records under control.

As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring that the financial accounts are processed accurately and efficiently. You will provide support with day-to-day financial processes and help to ensure reliable financial reporting.

Your duties will include, amongst other things:

Providing support with, and carrying out independently, month-end and year-end closings;
Checking and processing financial transactions;
Identifying anomalies and contributing ideas for process improvements;
Point of contact for clients regarding financial and administrative matters.

What do you bring to the table?

At least a higher vocational education (HBO) level of working and thinking in the financial sector;
At least 2 years’ work experience in a financial role;
You work with attention to detail, are able to work independently and have an analytical mindset;
A good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
Experience with the accounting software programmes Twinfield, Exact and Basecone is an advantage.

Here’s what you can expect from us

A varied role for 24 to 40 hours per week, with the number of hours to be agreed upon;
A salary starting at €3,200.00 gross (based on a 40-hour week);
30 days’ leave (based on a 40-hour working week);
